Our Story
Dixons Driving School is one of Bendigo's longest running driving schools established in 2003.
As a family run business, we pride ourselves in providing quality driver training for learners, international drivers and individuals with disabilities.
We are also the only provider within Central Victoria offering specialist driver training using vehicle modifications including hand controls, spinner knobs, and left foot accelerator.
Our experienced male and female instructors ensure that our students not only obtain their license but also learn to drive confidently and safely.

Geoff Dixon

Geoff is dedicated to teaching and brings a wealth of experience, charisma and knowledge from his diverse career.
As a father/grandfather himself, he sets high expectations for his applicants ensuring they are set for a long, safe driving journey, as any parent wants for their child.
With a background that includes working on the railways, automotive parts salesman, road traffic management – rural and metro, owning taxi’s and a fish & chip shop, Geoff co-founded the driving school with Sheridan.
He has valuable insights to share with drivers of all levels.

Sheridan Macdonald

Sheridan is passionate about helping learner drivers build their confidence and skills on the road.
As a mother herself, she understands the importance of teaching her applicants to the best of their abilities.
With extensive experience in driver training since establishing the driving school in 2003, she is dedicated to providing high-quality training not only to learner drivers, but elderly and neurodiverse individuals.
Sheridan also specialises in helping people who require the use of vehicle modifications, ensuring that everyone can experience the joy and freedom of driving.
Matt Dixon

Matt has a very friendly approach and is dedicated to helping people be confident and safe drivers.
Matt specialises in new Learner drivers, overseas applicants and people who are nearly ready to obtain their license.
With extensive experience as a Driving Instructor. Matt is also a parent of young drivers therefore he understands the crucial role that education plays in establishing confident and responsible driving habits in young learner drivers.

Kristy Dixon

Kristy has a kind, professional approach to teaching learners and will make even the most anxious driver feel at ease.
She has an exceptional skill set in Education working as a Driving Instructor and school teacher for many years.
She has been involved in the local Bendigo community where her now adult children have been raised and has extensive local road knowledge of the area.
Kristy has a thirst for learning and is always developing her own knowledge in Education and as a Driving Instructor. This comes out in her instruction as she calmly parts in her knowledge.
Anthony Macdonald

Anthony is a dedicated driving instructor who pairs his passion for cars with a strong commitment to road safety.
Holding the latest Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training (TLI41222), he takes great satisfaction in helping young drivers progress toward earning their licence.
With extensive experience handling challenging situations, Anthony remains calm, patient, and supportive, making him an excellent choice for nervous or anxious learners who need extra encouragement on the road.
